Troubleshooting

Common Issues

Phone won't register

Verify credentials match exactly (username is extension number only). Check that the SIP server domain is correct. Ensure port 5060/5061 is not blocked by firewall.

No incoming calls

Check that your DID is routed to this extension in the portal. Verify NAT settings if phone is behind a router.

No audio / one-way audio

Enable STUN or configure your router for SIP ALG. Ensure RTP ports (10000-20000) are open. Try disabling SIP ALG on your router.

TLS connection fails

Ensure phone firmware supports TLS. Use port 5061 and verify transport is set to TLS, not UDP.
